HTML Character Escaper

HTML escaping allows you to display characters in web pages that would be otherwise not be displayed, and likely interfere with the page, due to their special meaning. It also allows character set independent representations for extended characters and symbols. It is a necessary component of safely rendering user input in dynamic web sites.

Enter a string and choose what types of characters you want to HTML escape, and we will replace all the specified characters with their HTML named or numeric entity equivalents! Preference is given to named entities.
